Welcome, Angel M.B. Chadwick! As a child, Angel had an unusual, but original career goal, and her WIP is a fascinating blend of genres.
Fear is like a looking glass….
What’s the best horror/thriller movie you’ve seen this year so far?
The Inherited. It was on Lifetime Movie Network. It was the only movie that caught my interest and kept it. It had real substance and originality.
What fictional character would be your nightmare neighbor?
Beetlejuice. Seriously, I used to have nightmares about that creepy dude. I love horror. And I’m not easily scared, but for some reason he’s the only one.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be Frankenstein’s bride. I also wished “The Munsters” were my family.
If you could go back in time, where would you go and what would you do?
I would sit and have a cup of tea with Edgar Allan Poe.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on my next book which is a bit of sci-fi fantasy, steampunk, mystery, thriller, speculative fiction, suspense.
When you finish a book, do you take time off or jump into another project?
I always jump into another project. I’m a workaholic writer for which I don’t want a cure for, if there is one.
If you could change one thing about your writing career, what would it be?
To be more financially stable than I am now.

“A workaholic writer without a cure.” I liked that description, mostly because I can so relate, LOL.

Confession time. When Beetlejuice first came out, I fell asleep during the movie and then walked out when I woke up. I’m a Michael Keaton fan, so not sure what happened – haven’t watched it since.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard that from someone before! I know the movie hasn’t aged well, that’s for sure.

I loved The Munsters! They just don’t make shows like that anymore 🙂

Enjoyed the visit by Angel. The cover of Weeping Well is spectacular. Thanks, Teri. I thought Beetlejuice was tons of fun.

A lovely guest post, Teri. Beetlejuice – gosh I loved that movie but it didn’t scare me. Edgar Allan Poe; now that is someone with a really scary mind!

I don’t drink tea, but think I’d make an exception for Poe. Thanks, Robbie!
