Downsizing the TBR Pile @DGDriverAuthor #RBRT

I had a fantastic time at SOKY Book Fest this past weekend!  Attended writing workshops and author panels, bought books, talked with authors C.J. Redwine and Victoria Schwab, bought books, met an author whose books I’ve read through Rosie’s Book Review Team, and…. bought books.

I’ve reviewed Passing Notes, Cry of the Sea, and Whisper of the Woods and was photo (10)excited to meet the author, D.G. Driver, at Book Fest this weekend.  All her books are wonderful reads, with the YA Juniper Sawfeather books raising environmental awareness.  Be sure to check them out!

With some of my review books being a tad longer than usual, I haven’t had time to read The Scorpio Races.

That being said, I did have time to read an awesome short story, Let Go, by Michael 29916085Patrick Hicks – review to be posted on this blog next week.  I’ve read his sci-fi books, but this was his first foray into the zombie arena.

As far as writing goes – had a couple of rejections last week, but also got another request for a full.  Again, keep your fingers crossed, light a candle, whatever you can do to help!

So, I’m still currently reading:

Up next – again:

TBR pile:  99

Read:  1

Bought:  4 (Seriously, I restrained myself at Book Fest – could have been so much worse)

Total:  104
