My first giveaway and what a way to start – a signed paperback copy of Bound, the first book in the Bound trilogy, by Kate Sparkes! A few weeks back, I entered her One Year Celebration Giveaway, knowing it was outside the realm of possibility that I’d win, because, well – I’ve never won anything. Apparently, the stars aligned, the cows came home, hell froze over, and pigs flew, because I won this signed paperback copy of Bound with some extra goodies thrown in.
Since I’m already well aware of the awesomeness of Kate’s books, I thought I’d pay it forward and give someone else the opportunity to become acquainted with this utterly captivating series. It has something for everyone – fantasy, magic, a strong female protagonist, dragons, mermaids, adventure, humor and romance.
Synopsis: Welcome to Darmid, where magic is a sin, fairy tales are contraband, and the people live in fear of the Sorcerers on the other side of the mountains.

I am half way through Bound on Kindle on my phone. I am loving it so far! But between my kiddos “borrowing” my phone and then not finding the time to read until they do, I’m having a hard time finishing. I would love to win a hard copy to read while the have my phone. That’s when I usually have the quite time to read! Thanks so much!

That is so wonderful of you to giveaway your giveaway! I am anxiously awaiting for Kate to write more! Faster, Kate, faster! Would love to win this as I am a bit financially strapped so my hubby put his foot down. No more buying books! I would love this book for my daughter. I have read them all and am really excited for the new one, but I read them on Kindle, so have a hard time loaning it out and this would be perfect for her!

This would be a great prize to be able to share. After reading Bound and Torn on my Kindle I left a reader recommendation on Amazon. I indicated I was adding Kate to the list of writers which includes Charles Delint, and Tanya Huff, that I eagerly watch for new books from. While e-books are great physical books are better to keep and to lend. I will be sharing this series with my daughter. Darrel

I read Bound a few days ago and thought I would hate it. It ended up being one of my favorites!!!! It taught me a lot. Like how we can find love anywhere and how the bad ones are also capable of loving others. It also had a thing or two about arranged marriages- which I think needs to be addressed in other books as well.
